Horsell FC Christmas break review 🎅🎄

Horsell FC First team look to continue building on their success from their first two seasons with hopes of challenging for the league title.

Charlie Harcup would resume in the role as First team manager. A man with great experience and knowledge of grassroots football which he can share with the players.

He also brought on Mark Wheelhouse to join the team as First team coach, a man who knows football is only played 20% with your feet. Also Ian Guest, another experienced man to help out on match days.

A big recruitment drive over the summer helped bring in some real exciting players to strengthen the club.

A disappointing result came in the second game of the season with Horsell losing. This was just the wake up call Horsell needed. Since then, the boys performances have gone from strength to strength.

The improved performances have helped Horsell FC move into 2nd place in the league as we go into the Christmas break. This gives the first team a great platform to mount a title challenge in the second half of the season.

Horsell have also progressed through to the 4th round of the county cup. It’s been a good cup run so far but the boys do not want it to end just yet. Dare to dream…🏆

Main thing is the club has gained some brilliant new characters for the Horsell FC party. There’s no such thing as 2 teams at Horsell. It’s one club, one party🍻

The firsts season resumes 8th January when they take on Bookham in the 4th round of the county cup.
